The Silly Claim That Americans Don't Have Enough Time to Read

A whopping 51% of Americans say they don't read books because they're too busy watching 2.8 hours of TV a day?! Put down that remote and back away from the screen . . .
Same thing goes for all those people who say they "always wanted to write a novel but don't have the time."
*I run into this with my students all the time! They're too busy with their video games for 20 minutes of reading a night. I call BS on that.*
