Well. I gave it a valiant effort, I really did. But the stupidity just outweighed any potential Death might have had if he'd shown up before I had to call it quits. I made it to page 169, which was sheer torture. Like the first book, a brilliant concept that totally fell flat for me. Evie was just way too annoying and easy to hate.
